2019 Ford F-150 Limited Review

So you really want a Raptor but you’re finding that to be a hard sell to the spouse. Well, the 2019 F-150 Limited offers Raptor-level power with the finesse of a luxury pickup. Ford’s mighty 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 has found a new home in the highest F-150 trim level, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission delivering 450 horsepower and 510-pound-feet of torque, offering more power than any other ½ ton truck on the market. Combining the Raptor’s grunt with the Limited’s business-class features creates an athlete in a finely tailored suit. New dual exhaust tips showcase the energy within. Ford continues to raise the bar for premium pickup trucks by scrutinizing the materials used and attention to detail in the cabin. Soft two-tone leather multicontour front seats with massage, heated and cooled, are the perfect remedy to a tough day. Power deployable running boards, remote start, tailgate release and twin-panel moonroof are just a few examples of the Limited’s breadth of offerings. On the electronics front, Pro Trailer Backup Assist is optionally available, making maneuvering the boat as easy as rotating a knob. A 360 degree camera, full smartphone integration, Wi-Fi, a B&O Play audio system and all of the modern safety technologies are standard. Pricing will be announced closer to its on-sale date later this year.
