As an option, the DCC adaptive damping system takes control a step farther by allowing the driver to choose between Normal, Comfort and Sport modes. The DSG automatic transmission gets the Golf R to 60mph the fastest, taking under 5-seconds and includes 3 driving programs while a 6-speed manual is also offered for purists.
