2016 Lincoln MKX Review

The rebirth of Lincoln continues with the introduction of the brand’s 3rd of 4 all-new vehicles by 2016 with the next generation MKX; their player in the popular midsize premium utility segment. Lincoln’s goal is to create an engaging and personalized driving experience. To that point, a newly available 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine provides more than 330 turbocharged horsepower and more than 370 pound-feet of torque for a higher level of performance. Mated to a 6-speed automatic, the driving experience can be tailored via Lincoln Drive Control with Normal, Sport and Comfort settings as well as through Lincoln’s first integration of adaptive steering. Technologies to make life easier are also key, such as adaptive cruise control, a lane keeping system, blind spot warning, cross-traffic alert and a height-adjustable hands-free power tailgate. There’s also a new 360-degree camera and full feature park assist for worry-free operation. And to further soothe the soul, new 22-way front seats with active motion reduce muscle fatigue while an industry-first 19-speaker Revel Ultima audio system accurately reproduces your favorite music.
