2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Review

The number of available pickup truck configurations is staggering but one particular niche is hot right now and that’s off-road. So for 2015 Toyota tosses their hat into the ring with a new aggressive off-road package for the full-size Tundra. Known as the Tundra TRD Pro, Toyota has kept the engineering in-house using Toyota Racing Development to produce a truck with authentic off-road capability, built to be pushed to the limits. Available on 4X4 models with the 5.7-liter V8 and 6-speed auto in either Double Cab or CrewMax bodystyles, the TRD Pro is exclusively equipped with a front skid plate, tuned springs for improved ride quality and 2” of front lift, Bilstein High-Performance shocks, all-black 18” wheels with Michelin Off-Road tires specifically produced for Tundra, a vociferous dual exhaust system and a host of TRD Pro badges and other visuals lending to this rough truck look. Attitude Black, Super White and this all-new exclusive Inferno round out the color choices. Gas mileage is rated at 13mpg city/17mpg highway. Designed with serious specs for serious off-roaders, pricing for the 2015 Tundra TRD begins at $42,385 including destination.
