That’ll score you an EcoSport S with its tiny 1.0-liter, turbocharged EcoBoost 3-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. It produces 123 horsepower and earns an EPA-estimated 28mpg in combined driving. Want a little more pep and all-wheel drive? Each trim can be specified with the optional 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine for approximately an extra $1,500, bundled with 4-wheel traction. Power rating for this one is 166 horsepower, returning a combined 25mpg. Towing is maxed at 2,000 pounds. And if you want a friskier drive, the top trim EcoSport SES includes a sport-tuned suspension. Ford says the EcoSport is fun, capable and connected, customizable with 10 available colors, 6 interior choices and ambient lighting options.
